My name is Shadi Negaimshi, and I've been in the Marine Department for 12 years now. I joined as a commercial diver, and I've been passionate about diving ever since.
I like exploring new environments, especially the ones that not a lot of people have experienced. And I found the perfect balance in diving between adventure and purpose.
Knowing that my job has an impact with every dive and every task we do, participating in the safety and sustainability of the subsea infrastructure.
I am passionate about my job. Safety is the No. 1 priority in Aramco. And high-stake activity only makes us more committed to safety rules and regulations.
The underwater environment is unpredictable. Situations can change rapidly, that is why we need to remain focused and vigilant to take quick and correct decisions to complete the task safely.
If I could sum up my career experience in one word, I would say “exciting.”
What I like the most about my job is the teamwork. In this environment, we depend strongly on each other, creating a strong bond of trust.
