Sound of Ithraeyat
Third Anniversary edition of Ithraeyat released
This special edition focuses on the theme of Sound.
The Third Anniversary edition of Ithraeyat, the popular cultural magazine produced by the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), is out.
The theme of this month’s edition is Sound.
“Sound is at the heart of the moods and the music we listen to. It is the soul of th epoems, the chants, and songs we remember.
“Sound is the voice of the world around us, and at a times, it is melodic, mesmerizing, memorable; and at other times, it is a cacophony of noise that is too loud to the point of becoming unheard and deafening,” the entry to his special edition.
In addition to the main theme, Ithraeyat celebrates the 100 year anniversary of one of the Arab world’s greats, the legendary poet Nizar Qabbani, as well as an interview with artist Munner Al-Hajji, and much, much, more.
