The transport sector is under intense pressure to decarbonize. In fact, the transport sector contributes about 25% of energy-related CO2 emissions.
The good news is that there will be a mix of technology solutions that will address this challenge.
Battery electric vehicles are a solution for regions where power generation is taking place using renewable resources.
There is a great opportunity to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by a combination of improving internal combustion efficiency as well a using low-carbon fuels or renewable fuels.
A CO2 reduction by be anywhere between 70% to 90%. That is quite significant.
Our transition to sustainable mobility in the future means that we have to consider all technology solutions.
