Get ready for the upcoming Firefighter Challenge

Come and join us at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) to witness the fantastic abilities of our Aramco firefighters and their competitors through the four-day “Aramco Firefighter Challenge 2022.” 

For the first time in the event’s 14-year history, Aramco has invited firefighters from around the world to compete in what promises to be the fiercest firefighter challenge to date. Firefighters from across the company and the Kingdom representing the Fire Protection Department, Civil Defense, Aramco joint ventures (YASREF, SAMREF, SASREF, SATORP, and Sadara), and the Saudi Electricity Company will compete for the champion title of “Toughest Firefighter Alive” alongside their international firefighter colleagues.

The opening event on Wednesday, Nov. 23, is a must-see and promises to be spectacular, with the iconic Ithra tower as the backdrop. Come along and soak up the parade atmosphere with firetrucks, flashing lights, and sirens, and support the firefighters who protect our communities around the clock.

Families can enjoy firefighters showcasing their talent and fitness prowess in a high-tech arena with amazing laser lights, music, and a mega-TV screen. But don’t worry; there will be many opportunities to view the World Cup between competitions. There are also plenty of fun and educational activities for the kids, with a specially built arena for a Future Firefighter Challenge, fire awareness, face painting, coloring books, and firetruck rides.

The event will take place on Nov. 23 (3 -10 p.m.), Nov. 24 and25 (6-10 p.m.), and Nov. 26 (4-9 p.m.) in Parking Lot No. 3 at Ithra. No registration is required.
