Johns Hopkins Medicine experts in bariatric and shoulder surgery on rotation later this month

Johns Hopkins Medicine Bariatric Surgery expert Dr. Hien Nguyen will join the Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) Bariatric Surgery Team on medical rotation in Dhahran from Aug. 28 to Sept. 1.

Dr. Nguyen, the director of the Comprehensive Hernia Center and an associate professor of surgery at JHM, is an expert in single-incision surgery, robotic surgery, and laparoscopic bariatric surgery. His visit is allotted for prescheduled complex cases and procedures for JHAH patients.

JHM Orthopedic Surgery expert Dr. Uma Srikumaran will join the JHAH Orthopedic Team on surgical rotation in Dhahran from Aug. 28 to Sept. 1.

Srikumaran, chairman of the  Johns Hopkins Orthopedic Surgery at Howard County General Hospital and an associate professor of Orthopedic Surgery, specializes in shoulder surgery. He treats patients with shoulder pain, rotator cuff disease, traumatic injuries, instability or dislocations, fractures, osteoarthritis, or other sports-related injuries.

Srikumaran’s visit is allotted for prescheduled complex cases and procedures for JHAH patients.
