Center to develop nonmetallic building material technologies and standards for building and construction.
In collaboration with China Building Materials Academy, we launched NEXCEL, our latest center of excellence for nonmetallic in Beijing.
This center joins our two existing nonmetallic research hubs based in the U.K. and U.S.
The global cost of corrosion is estimated to be $2.5 trillion.
Nonmetallics can eliminate corrosion, lower maintenance costs, and enhance the durability and longevity of structures. NEXCEL plans to develop nonmetallic building material technologies as well as adopt clear-cut standards for building and construction.
The center will also launch nonmetallic professional development programs for contractors, designers, and end-users.
NEXCEL plans to attain more durable and cost-effective building solutions through advancements in nonmetallic.
